SUNDAY MORNING BIBLE STUDIES: All members and guests are encouraged and invited to join one of our Bible Studies that we have here at St. James after Church. Adults join in the Parish Hall studying the Fruits of the Spirit. Elementary children are down in the Childcare Wing. Junior and Senior High students are invited to join us in the Library (Pastor’s old office) for an Apologetics Study. Catechesis will take place after Sunday school.
MEN’S GATHERING: St. James will be holding a Men’s Gathering on Sunday, May 17th at Steve & Linda’s house @ 602 East 3rd Street (E. Hwy. 18), Brookston. We will gather at 3:00 for Burgers & Brats then move to Crasian Brewery. For more information, please talk to Steve or Linda Hall.
ST. JAMES CHILDCARE GRADUATION will take place Wednesday, May 13 at 6 P.M. here at church. The congregation is welcome to attend as we celebrate the children who will be graduating to Kindergarten.
ASCENSION SERVICE: There will be an Ascension Service held at St. Luke Lutheran Church in Rensselaer at 7:00 CST (8:00 EST)
PASTOR VACATION: Pastor Keller will be on vacation from May 23—June 6. Pastor John Westfall will be leading the service on May 24th and Pastor Martin Keller will lead the service on May 31st. If a need arises please contact a Deacon.
VBS MEETING: There will be a VBS Meeting following worship next Sunday, May 17th.
