GERMAN DINNER & BAZAAR: TUESDAY, OCTOBER 13TH! The German Dinner and Bazaar is rapidly approaching. It is time to get started on those wonderful items for the bazaar. You can bring Fudge, Peanut Brittle, Home Canned Goodies (pickles-relishes-jams-jellies etc.) crafts (if you are crafty), sewing, needlework, etc. We look forward to this time of year so we all need to pitch in! Don’t forget Tuesday, October 13th.

MIDWEEK BIBLE STUDY will begin of Wednesday, September 16 at 6:30pm in the Library. We will be examining Christ in the Old Testament. Everyone is welcome and encouraged to come as we study God’s Word!

FLIERS FOR THE GERMAN DINNER: There are fliers in the back of the church advertising the German Dinner. Please pick them up and distribute them in your area.

DIAPER & WIPE DRIVE: During the month of September we will be collecting diapers and baby wipes for Derek & Jessica Carty as they await the arrival of their baby in October. There will be a collection container in the back of the church.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOXES: Now is the time to start thinking about the Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes. We have supported this project for several years and we would like to find someone to spearhead this project. With Thrivent’s unique membership benefits any eligible Thrivent member may apply for a Thrivent Action Team. Once approved, Thrivent will provide $250 seed money, T-shirts for the volunteers and thank you cards. We will need to begin collecting small toys, hygiene products, school supplies, etc. Then in December we will pack the shoeboxes to be sent off. As more information comes in we will keep you updated. If you would be interested in leading this wonderful project, please let Linda or Pastor know.
