INSTALLATION of Rev. Adam Barcott as Associate Pastor of St. James, Lafayette is today, August 24, at 3 PM.
Services can be live-streamed via our Facebook page: (St. James Lutheran Church-Reynolds, IN). St. James' WEBSITE can be accessed at www.st-james-lutheran.org. Worship services are normally recorded and an edited audio version posted.
BIBLE STUDIES: Please join us for our Bible studies that we offer throughout the month. Adult Bible Study and Children’s Sunday School take place after church down in the Parish Hall. LWML is taking a break until September. Midweek Bible Study takes place every Wednesday at 6:30 PM starting in the Sanctuary and then in the Library. All are welcome to join us as we study God’s Word!
BRIDAL CARD COLLECTION: We will begin collecting cards for Isaac and Jillian, as the date approaches for their marriage. Collection for cards and gifts will go until Sunday, September 7. There will be a basket in the narthex for the cards and other gifts.
LWML CHEESE SALE: Helpers are needed for our upcoming sale. Please join us for a brief meeting immediately after worship this morning.
FLOWER CHART SIGN-UP: Would you like to donate flowers to beautify our altar? If so, please add your name to the flower chart and the flower committee will be glad to help you.
GERMAN DINNER & BAZAAR: The date for our German Dinner and Bazaar is Tuesday, October 14th. More information will be forthcoming on food preparation and set-up. Please mark this date on your calendar.
