BIBLE STUDIES: Please join us for our Bible studies that we offer throughout the month. Adult Bible Study and Children’s Sunday School take place after church down in the Parish Hall. LWML Bible Study will begin at 1:30 PM on the first and last Tuesdays of each month. Midweek Bible Study takes place every Wednesday at 6:30 PM starting in the Sanctuary and then in the Library. All are welcome to join us as we study God’s Word!

ST JAMES REFORMATION FESTIVAL will take place after church. We will have our soup and dessert contest, games and plenty of fellowship!

PACK AWAY HUNGER: It’s that time of year again where we join the fight against food insecurity in our community and in the world through Pack Away Hunger! The event is November 8th at Monticello United Methodist Church and how many meals to be packed that day fully depends on how much money can be raised. Like many things, the cost of meals this year has increased, reaching a price point of about $0.40 per meal, with the minimum amount of meals we can pack at 30,000. The event is from 8-3, however there are 3 different shifts (8-10, 10-noon, & 1-3). You will select your time when registering. Here is the website you can use to register and/or donate for this program: givebutter.com/MonticelloUMC2025.

COMMUNITY EVENT: A hotpad sew-in - all materials provided. If you wish, you can bring two nine inch squares of material you want to use. It is for anyone, experienced or beginner. November 12 1:00 - 3:00 p.m. at the Reynolds School, Room 3. Beginners and experienced sewers are welcome. This is simple, easy to sew and each person will walk away with a completed, ready to use hotpad. Think about about stocking stuffers and giving someone something that you made. Cost is $5 payable when you arrive. Please call 812-341-4849 or 219-863-4055 and leave a message with your name and who will be attending. Deadline for sign-up is November 5th.

DEEPLY ROOTED: Looking for a place to grow in God’s Word and connect with others in the church? Join us for a family-friendly gathering where we’ll talk about life in the church, building habits of faith at home, raising children, and walking together as God’s people. We will meet Sunday, November 9 at noon in the Keller’s home. Lunch will be provided. Singles, couples, parents, and children are all welcome.

SECRET SISTER REVEAL: will be held on Sunday, November 16th, following worship service.
